UNIX System Administrator
with Oracle Database

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the administration, backup, recovery, security and performance management of the UNIX systems.
You will oversee the technical design, development, and maintenance of the UNIX systems including installing version upgrades and patches.

Requirements

Possess a good degree from recognised universities with major in Computer Science/Engineering or any Computer related subjects. Candidates who possess relevant post graduate qualifications and/or professional certifications will have an added advantage.
Min 2 years experience in UNIX System Administration, either Solaris, HP-UX or AIX
Good hands-on experience in Oracle Database and in administration with PL/SQL, Scripts
Experience in handling large databases and managing SLA in complex environments
ERP experience or Data Centre experience will be an added advantage
Proficient in English
Possess strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. Candidates should also have initiative, drive and the ability to work independently and in a team.
